The golden rule? Start early. Ideally, begin packing 2–3 weeks before your move.
What You’ll Need:
- Sturdy boxes (small for books, large for light items)
- Packing tape and a tape gun
- Bubble wrap and packing paper
- Thick markers and labels
- Furniture covers and dust sheets
What to Pack First:
Start with things you won’t need in the coming weeks: - Seasonal clothes - Spare bedding and towels - Books, decor, and ornaments - Unused kitchenware
How to Pack:
- Room by room: This keeps things manageable.
- Label everything: Include the room and a list of contents.
- Heaviest items at the bottom of boxes.
- Don’t overload: If it’s heavy, split it into two boxes.
